Island Forestry provides a wide range of services:
• Tree Felling - The removal of a tree either by standard felling or, where space is limited, by sectional felling. Our arborists will discuss the best option with you during our initial visit.
• Branch Removal -
The removal of a branch that has either grown into an undesired location or is dead or diseased. Our team can also safely remove dangerous hung-up fallen branches.
• Crown Work -
The reshaping of a tree by removing certain branches. This can include a crown reduction (reducing the overall size of the tree), a crown lift (removing the lower branches of the tree) or crown thinning (removing various branches throughout the tree).
• Wind Blown Trees -
The removal of a tree that has become dangerous following adverse weather conditions. This can also include trees that have fallen completely.
• Tree Planting -
The planting of new trees, from a single specimen right through to turnkey woodlands. Our designers will discuss your exact requirements with you and advise on the best species to plant and the appropriate time of year to do it.
• Site Clearance -
The removal of trees and brash from an area so that further works may be carried out. Rotovating, harrowing and seeding services can also be obtained from ourselves.
• Woodland Management -
The management of trees and brash within a woodland so as to maximise the woods current potential and help safeguard its future existence. Our staff can also provide assistance with government grants.
• Tree Surveys -
A fully comprehensive range including inspections, tree hazard evaluations and tree preservation orders or appeals.
Due
to the nature of our business we also supply logs, kindling and woodchip.
