Fishing Lake

Parklands was constructed and stocked in the summer of 1990 and has since then matured into a beautifully scenic fishing venue. Although the lake is approximately 2-acres in size it only has 20-pegs around its perimeter, this was done to allow each angler to have their own unhindered tranquil space.

The lake is stocked with carp (up to 23lb.), roach, rudd, gudgeon, bream, tench, perch and pike. There is a two-rod limit per angler and keepnets are not permitted.

Parklands is maintained and managed by ourselves. Every tree, shrub and aquatic plant has been hand-planted by our team. Even though Parklands was man-made the owners wanted the lake to appear ‘natural’, and we like to think that we have achieved this desired effect.

Anglers benefit from ample off-road parking and an on-site toilet. As Parklands is a syndicate water there are never any matches held, the membership is also limited to ensure that anglers can always come and fish.

If you would like to view the lake please feel free to come along, you won’t be disappointed.

The car park is on your right-hand side after you have pulled in through the main entrance gates the entrance to the lake is situated at the bottom of the car park on the left-hand side. The toilet is located at the top of the car park in the front of the first brick building.
